In the Heat Together: Couples in the Kitchen. Chaired by renowned psychotherapist Susie Orbach, they explore the psychology of collaboration under pressure, the unique dynamics of affection and rivalry, the balancing of creative vision with commercial survival, and the emotional labour required to keep relationships – and restaurants – thriving.

Susie Orbach is passionate about food and people enjoying it. She is a psychotherapist, writer and co-founder of The Women's Therapy Centre in London and The Women's Therapy Centre in New York. As a psychotherapist, she has worked with many people whose relish has been thwarted by the cultural dictates about bodies and size, and she has written widely on the sorrows of eating difficulties. As a psychoanalyst, she has a practice seeing individuals and couples about which she has also written. Her books include Fat is a Feminist Issue, Hunger Strike, What's Really Going on Here?, Towards Emotional Literacy, Susie Orbach on Eating and The Impossibility of Sex.
